EMBODIMENT FOR TRAUMA RECOVERY

Next Session: November 12 - December 17
When: Sundays from 11:30am - 12:30pm
Where: The Branches Yoga (9 Samuel Street, Kitchener)

Cost: $145 +HST (Community Supporter Rate)

This unique class is for anyone who is on a path to recovering from physical or emotional trauma. The class aims to give participants tools to understand how trauma affects the body, to move through embodied trauma (trauma stored in the body) through very gentle movements, simple postures from hatha yoga, and breath awareness. The classes are aimed at building a trauma survivor’s sense of empowerment and cultivating a more positive relationship to one's body. The class focuses on internal sensing and reclaiming choice in your body, and is less about form or technique. Absolutely everything in the class is optional, and the practice is beginner-friendly.

Upcoming Sessions: January 14 - February 25

This course includes 6 interactive, weekly sessions offered in a hybrid (virtual and in-person) format
